Legends claim that the earth itself sealed him inside his citadel, leaving only the crown's pulse echoing beneath the stone.

Centuries later, exiles wandering the new campaign of Path of Exile 2 stumble upon that buried fortress. The Infested Tower is no longer a tomb it is a hive.

The Tower emerges in Act 3 as a labyrinthine dungeon carved into the ribcage of a mountain. Its outer walls crawl with resinous growths that glow faintly when disturbed, hinting at the life pulsing inside.
